Adani Foundation organized a ‘Sanitation Management Training Program’ at Gummaladibba village of Thaminapatnam gram panchayat in Chillakur mandal of SPSR Nellore district on Thursday (February 19). More than 150 residents, including youth, women, senior citizens and fishermen, participated in the program on the first day.
Launched at the behest of Jagdish Patel, Managing Director, Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited, the campaign aims to keep homes and lanes in villages clean by inculcating the habit of proper waste disposal. The intention is to make the village youth, women and senior citizens learn the skills to manage solid and liquid waste generated in households.
Several community leaders participated in the program and welfare group Yuva Shakti played a key role in the event.
