Airlines faced problems in checking in passengers at various airports on Thursday morning due to a software problem that lasted for more than 40 minutes, according to sources.
Sources told PTI that IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet and Akasa Air were hit at airports in Delhi, Mumbai and others.
From approximately 6:45 a.m. to 7:28 a.m., check-in systems were down due to a software outage. The issue has been resolved and system operations have returned to normal, one of the sources said.
The sources also said there was not much downtime for the airlines due to the software issues.
There were no statements from the airlines.
