The Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday welcomed the state government’s decision to extend the operating hours of bar hotels across the state from 10 am to midnight. In a press release, the chamber said it is consistently representing the matter to the government to support the hospitality, tourism and events industry. This move will significantly strengthen Kerala’s position as a premium tourist destination and improve the operational viability of star hotels and hospitality establishments.
