Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited has laid nearly 30 km of insulated power cables across coconut groves to prevent frequent short circuits that disrupt power supply in the district of Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema.

After reviewing the works with APEPDCL and district officials, District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar said that insulated cables would be installed for a total length of 80 km in coconut growing areas across the district to ensure uninterrupted supply.
