The national capital witnessed massive chaos, especially in Central and South Delhi. The primary reasons were VIP movements and route restrictions due to the AI ​​Summit currently being held at the Bharat Mandapam. Other contributing factors included the ongoing wedding season and students heading to examination centers for board exams.

The Delhi Police on Tuesday issued a detailed traffic alert in view of the AI ​​Impact Summit, which began on February 16 and will end on February 20. In its advisory, the Delhi Police said comprehensive traffic arrangements have been put in place in the interest of public safety and convenience.

Residents and commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance, avoid the affected sections if possible and allow extra time.

Authorities have advised participants to use the Delhi Metro, which will operate as usual during the summit. The nearest metro station to the venue is Pragati Maidan (Gate 10), which offers easy access for delegates and visitors.

For those traveling by car, dedicated parking lots have been arranged at Delhi Zoo, National Stadium and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. A shuttle will run from these parking lots to the summit venue to ensure smooth traffic.
