
G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology, Kurnool, in collaboration with Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) on Tuesday (February 17, 2026) launched a five-day Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program (ESDP). The aim of the program is to provide basic skills and knowledge to budding entrepreneurs and students.
Director General of RTIN Dr. On the occasion, R. Hafeez Basha emphasized that entrepreneurship means bringing change to society. “With enthusiasm, creativity and persistence, anyone can become an entrepreneur. Identify the market needs and take steps in that direction,” he said, adding that the program aims to transform job seekers into job creators.
Sharing his experience as a local entrepreneur, S. Khaja Malik, MD, Global Group said that starting a local business is not easy but with the right direction, skills and understanding of the market, success is possible.
Director Dr. C. Srinivasa Rao urged the students to use this program to shape their future as entrepreneurs. The event was also attended by Deputy Director Dr. M. Giridhar Kumar. The program covers topics such as entrepreneurship, finance and regulations, market analysis, digital branding, SMEs and start-ups and business strategy.
