In a joint appeal, they called on the Pakistani government to ensure that he is given adequate medical care and treated with dignity in accordance with international standards.According to reports, the 1992 World Cup-winning skipper is said to have lost nearly 85 percent of his vision in his right eye due to medical neglect while lodged in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
