In the recently concluded U-19 World Cup 2026, he emerged as India’s best run-scorer and second-highest overall scorer. He amassed 439 runs in seven innings at an impressive average of 62.71 and a lightning rate of 169.50, including one century and three fifties.He ended the tournament in style, smashing 175 off just 80 balls in the final, an innings studded with 15 fours and 15 sixes. The knock earned him both Player of the Match and Player of the Series awards.Vaibhav is now all set to represent Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026 under Riyan Parag. Last season, he scored 252 runs in seven matches, including a breathtaking 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans.
