Canadian Indian-origin batsman Yuvraj Samra made history by becoming the youngest player to score a century in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup when he hit a career-best 65-ball 110 against the New Zealand cricket team at the age of 19 years and 141 days in a Group D match. The youngster, named after Indian swashbuckler Yuvraj Singh by his cricket fan father Baljit Samra, has only played in the 19th edition of the T20 International since making his debut in March last year.
