Congress’s resounding victory in civic polls across the state reflects people’s confidence in transparent governance, development initiatives and welfare schemes implemented by the state government, said Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.

He was speaking to mediators along with newly elected Madhira town chairman S. Sujatha and Congress vice-president K. Dhanikumar after their unanimous election in Madhira town on Monday.

He said the state government has formulated plans to transform Telangana into a three-trillion economy by 2047. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is personally monitoring the responsibilities of the city administration to ensure comprehensive urban development.

The government is implementing the “Cure-Pure-Rare” policy framework, which aims to improve accountability in municipal administration and improve citizens’ quality of life, he added.

Mr. Vikramarka reiterated that the government will continue to accelerate development and social programs, honoring the trust the people place in it.
