Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Monday.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a number of issues requiring close coordination and cooperation between neighboring states. Mr. Nageswara Rao emphasized the need to speed up key infrastructure works in the border regions, including road connectivity, irrigation projects and railway lines, noting that their early completion would greatly benefit the people of both the Telugu states.
He apprised the Chief Minister about the progress and lingering concerns regarding these projects and expressed confidence that the outstanding issues would be resolved through high-level consultations between the two governments.
