Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps began a series of military exercises on Monday in the Strait of Hormuz, state media reported, a narrow and strategic waterway in the Persian Gulf.
After deploying a large naval force in the Persian Gulf, the United States has been conducting intensive exercises with the Guard’s naval forces under the supervision of the head of the IRGC, according to state television.
