Minister Satish Jarkiholi inaugurated a wrestling competition at Kadoli in Belagavi district as part of Mahashivaratri celebrations at Sri Duradundeshwar Math.
He used to seek the blessings of Sri Gurubasavalinga Swami. The Minister initiated development works worth ₹1.1 crore in the village.
Another wrestling competition organized by Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Wrestling Association was inaugurated at Peeranwadi under the observation of Hazrat Shah Sadrodin Ansari alias Janglipir Urs.
The matches will resume on Monday near the new gram panchayat office in Peeranwadi.
