
The Supreme Court of India is set to begin hearing the long-pending Sabarimala temple entry case along with a number of related cases.
The nine-judge Constitutional Committee hearing is expected to review major issues related to fundamental religious practices, equality and constitutional morality, ANI reported.
The Supreme Court has scheduled hearings to begin at 10:30 a.m. on April 7. Review sessions for proponents and supporting parties will be held from April 7 to April 9, followed by original proponents from April 14 to 16. Any rejoinders are set for April 22.
