Are you attending the AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi as a delegate? Check where to park and which gate to use for entry | Today’s news

February 16, 2026

As the AI Impact Summit 2026 begins at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on February 16, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) has asked delegates to use public transport due to limited parking and revised gate access.

This five-day summit will continue until February 20 and will be attended by heads of state, prime ministers, ministers, foreign delegates and representatives of international organizations.

In a social media post, the I&B Ministry said, “Traffic alert for 16th February! Delegates attending #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026 at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan are advised to use public transport due to limited parking and restricted gate access.”

“Please plan your arrival according to the updated entry protocols and cooperate with security personnel for the smooth running of the event,” the post read.

Use public transport

Registered delegates are strongly advised to use public transport, particularly the Delhi Metro, to travel to the venue. Pragati Maidan Metro Station will be the most convenient station for delegates who can enter the venue from Gate 10.

Prefer taxis

Due to the limited availability of parking spaces, the Delhi Police advised delegates to prefer taxis to their own vehicles.

However, for those who choose to travel by private vehicles, limited parking has been reserved at the Delhi Zoo, the Purana Qila car park and the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium. Shuttle service will run to and from the summit venues from these parking lots to Bharat Mandapam Gate 4.

Gate 4 will remain open for entry between 7.30am and 2pm only. After 14:00, access through gate 4 will be regulated/restricted according to security protocol.

Delegates are advised to use the golf carts provided at the Bharat Mandapam complex to reach their respective seats.

Bharat Mandapam Gate 7

The I&B Ministry said the entry from Bharat Mandapam Gate 7 will be open till 2 pm.

Before 14:00, delegates can alight outside Gate 7 and proceed through the Business Plaza to enter the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre.

Access through other designated gateways will continue to be subject to security screening and protocol-based movement restrictions.

For Sushma Swaraj Bhawan

Registered delegates joining the events at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan have also been advised to use public transport, metro services or taxis due to limited parking space.

The ministry said entry will be allowed from Gate 2 of Sushma Swaraj Bhawan for pedestrians, metro users, alighters and self-driving vehicles.
