Yadgir MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur submitted a request to the Chief Minister urging him to allocate ₹585.28 crore in the state budget for infrastructure development in his constituency.
Mr. Tunnur said the funds are required to start infrastructure development work in his constituency.
In a message on Sunday, Mr. Tunnur said he stressed the importance of providing infrastructure, including underground sewers, hospitals, culverts and industrial college buildings, and requested the chief minister to allocate grants to start development works.
Mr. Tunnur highlighted the development works to be started immediately and gave details of the grants sought for them.
He said that ₹288.70 crore is required for underground drainage work in Yadgir city, ₹100 crore for construction of 200-bed super specialty hospital at Yadgir Institute of Medical Science (YIMS) campus, ₹20.58 crore for construction of 200-bed hospital in Wadgir. A 50-bed AYUSH Hospital at Yadgir, ₹2 crore for a training hall for the Health Department, ₹75 crore for construction of 15 culverts on the Wanamarapalli-Raichur State Highway, ₹25 crore for various development works under the recently upgraded Doranahalli facility and a ₹7 crore Government Tool Room and ₹ crore Center (GTTC) in Yadgir.
