
On February 17, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy along with Industry Minister D. Sridhar Babu will launch BioAsia, Asia’s premier life sciences and healthcare technology forum.
The two-day event is set to reach new heights in its 2026 edition, reflecting a sharp year-on-year increase in global participation and industry involvement. More than 4,000 delegates from around the world are expected to participate, strengthening Hyderabad’s position as a global hub for life sciences innovation, research and collaboration.
The 2025 edition hosted approximately 3,000 delegates. In contrast, the 2026 edition attracted over 4,000 delegates and over 500 companies from around the world participated.
With the theme “TechBio Unleashed: AI, Automation & The Biology Revolution”, BioAsia 2026 will focus on the convergence of artificial intelligence, automation and life sciences. The event will feature more than 175 exhibitors from the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medicine, digital health and advanced manufacturing.
Dedicated platforms to support innovation and entrepreneurship include the Startup Pavilion with 40 emerging startups, the Innovation Pavilion with 16 exhibitors showcasing breakthrough technologies and the participation of 22 SMEs, reflecting the continued support of SMEs.
The conference will host keynote lectures by Bruce Levine, Howard Y. Chang, and Pushmeet Kohli with discussions focused on AI-driven drug discovery, advanced biomanufacturing, and next-generation therapeutic modalities.
Global pharmaceutical and life science majors such as Novartis, Eli Lilly, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Sanofi, MSD and Miltenyi Biotec will be prominent, alongside Indian leaders including Drs. Reddy’s Laboratories and Biocon Biologics.
