Afzalgunj police arrested a liquor depot worker from Amberpet for allegedly stealing three two-wheelers and impounded the vehicles.
The arrest of thirty-nine-year-old Md. Riyaz Uddin alias Riyaz followed a complaint on February 11 by P. Mahender, sub-office of the Osmania General Hospital, who reported that his motorcycle was stolen from the hospital parking lot between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm on the same day.
Police said CCTV footage and local investigations led to the arrest of the accused. During investigation, he was allegedly linked to two earlier thefts of Honda Activa scooters reported on November 25, 2025 and January 1, 2026 in the Afzalgunj area.
All three stolen vehicles have been recovered. Further investigation is underway.
