Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge congratulated Congress leaders and thanked party workers and people of Telangana for winning the local body elections.
In a message on X, Mr. Gandhi said the Congress victory was an endorsement of the Telangana government’s human justice policy, which was aimed at social justice, dignity and inclusive growth. He said the victory belongs to the party workers and leaders. He said that the party’s development plan is beneficial to every family across the state. In another message, Mr. Kharge said that the mandate reflects the confidence of the people in the Congress government and praised the Telangana Congress for its victory. “The Congress government remains committed to our solemn affirmation of ‘Prajala Telangana’ – a state where social justice, economic empowerment and continuous progress is ensured for all its 3.8 crore people.”
