PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss said on Saturday that the DMK would ensure the defeat of the Congress in the assembly elections due to their demand to seek a share of power.
Addressing a party meeting of social media functionaries at Sholinganallur, he said that while the National Democratic Alliance is strong, there is confusion in the INDIA bloc.
“In the DMK alliance – VCK-Congress, Congress-DMK and VCK-MDMK – there are fights within the alliance itself. The DMK will ensure the defeat of the Congress candidates as they will claim a share of power if they win,” he said.
The PMK cadre should realize that DMK is to blame for the disputes between him and his father PMK founder S. Ramadoss, he claimed. “It is they who are our enemy. It is the DMK who has created this confusion among us. It is the DMK who has instigated the fight between us. It is the DMK who has created the confusion which has made us fight among ourselves for positions,” added Dr. Anbuman.
