Thousands of devotees thronged the Kapila Theertham temple on Saturday to witness the procession of Kapileswara Swamy on ‘Kalpavriksha Vahanam’ during the seventh day of the annual Brahmotsavam.
Amid a grand devotional spectacle, the idol blessed the devotees accompanied by dance troupes performing before the Kalpavriksha Vahanam. Later, ‘Snapana Tirumanjanam’ was performed for the processional idols.
Temple Warden Chandrasekhar and other temple staff were also present on the occasion.
