A lawyer was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants at his office in Attapur on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as Mohammed Khadeer. According to an officer from the Attapur police station, Kadeer was ambushed and attacked with knives at his office in Suleman Nagar. “The assailants fled the scene after allegedly making sure that he had succumbed to his injuries,” said a police officer.
The police went to the scene and started an investigation. Preliminary investigation suggests that the murder may have stemmed from a family rivalry. Attapur police have formed special teams to nab the accused and CCTV footage from nearby areas is being made available to find clues.
