February 14, 2026

On February 14, Nic officially opened its first flagship retail store in India at Indiranagar, Bengaluru. The 5,032-square-foot space is the company’s second global flagship, following its headquarters in Soho, London.

More than 2,000 people gathered outside Indiranagar’s new flagship Nothing in Bengaluru. Before opening, queues stretched over 300 meters.

Founder Carl Pei attracted strong online attention after arriving in an autorickshaw. Despite the excitement, several visitors described confusion and discomfort on the ground.

Some reported poor queue control, crowd pushing and unclear distribution of wristbands. For security reasons, only 1,000 people were allowed inside. Others criticized the rude behavior of some staff and insensitive comments linked to language differences.

Carl Pei thanked the Bengaluru energy community. Co-founder Akis Evangelidis acknowledged overcrowding issues.

“I’ve also canceled my flight so I can be at the store tomorrow at 10am to spend time in person with those who couldn’t attend today,” he (now X) tweeted.

“Over 2,000 people came to our store opening today… what an incredible day – means so much! Thank you India,” he wrote in a separate post.

You won’t find anything in Bangalore

The Nothing store in Bangalore is designed as an immersive brand experience rather than a brick-and-mortar store. The store uses a retro-futuristic industrial style with exposed concrete and steel. It operates daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It spans two floors and includes interactive product zones, a creative studio and conveyor belt displays. It also has vending machines and a special back room for experimental concepts.

Apart from the flagship, the company also operates service and retail locations across Bengaluru. Nothing’s services include an exclusive service center in Indiranagar, a retail outlet in Rajajinagar and a multi-product store in HSR Layout.

The inaugural event featured limited-time promotional offers that generated a lot of public interest. These included CMF Buds 2 in the price 99 for the first 99 minutes, three months of extended warranty on in-store purchases and bundle discounts when audio products were purchased with Nothing Phone 3 or CMF Phone 2 Pro.
