‘Idathavalam’ for pilgrims inaugurated in Thiruvananthapuram

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday inaugurated a stopover (Idathavalam) for pilgrims with modern facilities at the Sree Mahadeva Temple at Kazhakuttam in the capital. The facility was built at a cost of ₹10 million. Spread over three floors and spread over an area of ​​32,000 square feet, the flyover has an annadana mandapam where food can be served to 300 people at a time. In addition, facilities such as dormitory for 75 men and 25 women, secure locker rooms and high-speed Wi-Fi system have been provided.

Mr. Vijayan said that the government aims to build twelve such flyovers across Kerala with the financial help of KIIFB. Currently, work on six such facilities is ongoing in the state.
