Congress Working Committee member Ramesh Chennithala on Friday filed a privilege notice against Devaswom Minister VN Vasavan over “contradictory and unrealistic answers” in the assembly regarding the amount spent by the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) on the Global Ayyappa Sangam organized by it in Pampa in September 2025.
In his letter to the Speaker, Mr. Chennithala requested that permission be granted to file a privileged notice as the minister had tried to mislead the assembly.
