Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has revealed a new tattoo as a Valentine’s Day gift for his girlfriend Mahieka Sharma. Developed at Aliens Tattoo, the tattoo features two leopards – one bold and realistic, the other composed of a flowing line that subtly forms the letter ‘M’ for Mahiek. The design aims to symbolize the visible strength and partnership between the couple, reflecting the individuality that is preserved even in their union.
Hardik and Mahieka started dating in 2025. According to the tattoo studio, Hardik originally wanted a simple tribute to Mahiec, specifically an M on the back of his neck. After discussions in the studio, the concept evolved into a more detailed artwork representing their values and relationship. The final placement was chosen for its subtlety, allowing the piece to remain intimate and meaningful.
“Hardik came up with the idea of the initials, but the interviews revealed something much deeper. They described themselves as partners who amplify each other’s strength. The leopard became the perfect metaphor, powerful alone, unstoppable together. This tattoo is not a decoration, it is a story carried permanently. Lead artist Tushar Marane has done the work with the joint input of Siddhesh Gawde and Devendra Palav to reflect Hardik and Mahieka’s story in every detail. The session was held late at night, with the design finalized after several discussions to ensure authenticity.
WHAT DID HARDIK SAY ABOUT THE INFLUENCE OF MAHIEKA?
Hardik talked about how she changed his life. It was during the T20I series in South Africa late last year Hardik paid a special tribute to Mahieka in Ahmedabad with a quick kiss celebration as she watched from the stands.
“Injuries test you mentally and you doubt a lot. My loved ones have a lot of credit for a successful comeback. Special recognition to my partner – she has been nothing but the best for me since she came into my life. Many great things have happened since she came,” said Hardik.
The all-rounder will be in action when India take on Pakistan on Sunday, February 15 in Colombo.
