Traffic diversions were announced in the Darussalam area today for the AIMIM event

Commuters have been asked to follow updates on the official social media platforms of the Hyderabad Traffic Police and to contact the transport helpline at 9010203626 in case of travel emergency.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police on Friday issued a traffic alert in view of Darussalam Day, which will be held at the AIMIM party office in Darussalam on Saturday (February 14). Between 16:00 and 23:00 light traffic congestion is expected in and around the Darussalam area

According to the notification, traffic coming from Malakunta and Begum Bazar Chatri towards Darussalam Road will be diverted at Alaska T Junction towards MJ Bridge and MJ Market. Vehicles from Alaska and Chaknawadi side lanes heading towards Darussalam–Ek Minar will be diverted towards Hameed Café Junction (Aghapura) and Chaar Kandil at Darussalam junction.

Traffic from Mallepally X, Boiguda Kaman and Mangalhat roads towards Darussalam will be diverted via Aghapura X roads towards Takkarwadi and Charkandil. Vehicles coming from Bazar Ghat and Taj Island will be diverted at Ek Minar towards Bazar Ghat and Nampally Railway Station Road.

Commuters from Sitaram Bagh and Mangalhat will be diverted at Aghapura Junction towards Charkandil, while traffic from City College and Afzalgunj towards Darussalam will be diverted to MJ Bridge towards Puranapool Junction. Darussalam bound vehicles from Mehdipatnam and Asifnagar will be diverted on Mallepally X roads towards Gokul Nagar and Bazar Ghat.

Parking was also provided for program participants. ATVs can be parked at Hockey Ground (Masab Tank), Hockey Ground (Red Hills), Anees-ul-Gurba at Ek Minar, Veterinary Hospital at Sitaram Bagh, Gyan Bagh adjoining grounds and Rocket Ground. Two wheelers can be parked at Agha Dargah, Sardar Baig Dargah and Pan Mandi Road.

Police also advised citizens visiting the All India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) in Nampally to use public transport services like TSRTC buses and Metro Rail to minimize congestion and cooperate with police personnel on duty.
