The Andhra Pradesh Bar Council elections were held peacefully with over 80% turnout on Friday.
Bar Council Secretary B. Padmalatha said in a press release that voting took place in 149 polling booths, including the High Court Bar Association office in New Delhi, under the supervision of Justice Returning Justice AV Sesha Sai and observer Justice VRK Krupa Sagar.
Counting of votes would begin on February 16 at the High Court.
