Ministers Anam Ramanarayana Reddy (Endowments), Dr. Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy (Social Welfare), Kandula Durgesh (Tourism), BC Janardhan Reddy (Roads and Buildings), Gottipati Ravi Kumar (Energy) and Anagani Satya Prasad (Sales, Beach F on Saturday) will attend the festival Pak14e 2026).
Speaking to The Hindu on Friday (February 13), Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) Chairman Nukasani Balaji said, “AP Tourism Department and Marine Board are jointly spending more than ₹ 2 crore to organize this two-day event at Pakala Beach in a grand manner. This shallow water beach will be among the top ten most developed beaches.”
“Since Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is prioritizing the tourism sector, we are doing our best to make Pakala beach a major tourist destination in the district. After the successful completion of this event, we are planning to restart the resort near the beach which was damaged due to negligence of the previous government,” he said.
AP Maritime Board chairman Damacharla Satyanarayana urged people to participate in the beach festival, he said, “Pakala beach is just six kilometers from the National Highway. The state government is organizing several programs to provide entertainment and joy to the people.”
The two-day beach festival will offer water sports, cultural shows and many other entertainment programs. A helicopter ride is also arranged. Special arrangements are being made for women and 500 policemen have been deployed to ensure the safety of visitors, he added.
