February 13, 2026

District Collector G. Rajakumari offered prayers at the famous Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple at Srisailam in Nandyal district on Friday (February 13, 2026). She joined the free darshan queue along with regular devotees and completed the darshan in about 20 minutes.

On the eve of Mahasivaratri festivities, the Collector inspected the queue arrangements including crowd management, security, drinking water supply, hygiene and medical services. She directed the officials to ensure continuous drinking water, maintain strict hygiene norms and strengthen inter-departmental coordination to avoid inconvenience to the pilgrims.

Interacting with the devotees waiting in the queues, the Collector inquired about the difficulties they were facing and instructed the officials to take immediate remedial action whenever necessary. She stressed that the priority should be to facilitate smooth and timely darshan for common devotees through efficient queue management.

After darshan, the Collector visited the laddu prasadam counters, queued up and examined the token system and distribution process. She reviewed the delivery mechanism to ensure transparency and timely delivery of prasadam to pilgrims.

Later, she joined the devotees in the annadanam hall, sat in the communal dining row and partook of the prasadam. It assessed food quality, cleanliness, serving procedures and overall layout and sought pilgrims’ feedback on the facilities provided.
