
Two persons, including a software engineer, were killed in separate road accidents reported within the Nelamangala and Bellandur traffic police station limits.
In the first incident, a 29-year-old man identified as Yashavanth, a native of Tumakuru district, died after his motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the NICE Road flyover near Nelamangala. Yashavanth was working in a private company and was on his way to work. The Nelamangal Traffic Police has registered a case.
In another incident, 23-year-old software engineer Varshit, a native of Tamil Nadu and a resident of Sarjapur, was killed after the motorcycle he was riding hit a compound wall near Bellandur in the early hours of Thursday. The accident took place around 2.30 am on Sarjapur Road.
His friend Vishanth Datta, who was driving the saw, sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. His condition is said to be critical.
Bellandur traffic police have registered a case.
