Happy to bat – Sri Lanka captain DASUN SHANAKA reckons it looks a very decent pitch so is happy to bat first. As for the forced team change, Shanaka admits that the Lankans will unfortunately be without their master bowler (Wanindu Hasaranga). So Dušan Hemantha is coming, he adds. On a batting display in their first game, Dasun replies that they expected to score more runs but the circumstances did not allow them as the pitch played on the slower side. I hope it will be a better record. DS is tight-lipped about his plans to tackle the middle overs in batting, stating that he talks about such things in team meetings and if conditions permit, they can implement their plans.
