Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and MLC B. Mahesh Kumar Goud has expressed confidence that the ruling Congress will register an unequivocal victory in the upcoming municipal polls, saying the party is poised to secure nearly 90% of the seats.
Speaking to the media after exercising his authority at the Sunflower High School polling station in Nizamabad on Wednesday, Mr. Goud said that the city electorate had strongly supported the development and social initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
According to him, the government’s quick decision-making, transparent management and firm commitment to social justice have significantly strengthened public confidence in Congress.
Mr. Goud pointed out that effective implementation of six guarantees, free bus travel for women, farm loan waiver, Indiramma housing program and special funds allocated for urban development have received wide public recognition.
He further noted that the government’s focus on strengthening urban infrastructure has created a positive sentiment among voters, especially in urban areas.
Mahesh Kumar congratulated the party leaders, candidates and local workers for their dedicated efforts during the election campaign. He thanked all the party workers for their tireless contribution and assured that the Congress government would respect the people’s mandate by committing to comprehensive urban development across Telangana.
