A Hoysala police team rescued six persons belonging to two families trapped in a lift due to a technical fault on February 7 at GM Apartment, Tirupalya, under the jurisdiction of Hebbagodi police station.
The staff of the flat alerted ‘Namma 112’ after which the information was passed on to Hoysala-08 patrol personnel on duty, Police Constable Vijay Gadada and Assistant Head Constable Devappa.
A Hoysala patrol rushed to the spot and managed to open the lift door. All six people, including two children, were rescued safely.
