In the video clip, an Indian tourist is seen approaching a street vendor for local dry fruits. He asks for the name of the black-colored resin-like item before proceeding to purchase. After the taste test, the tourist asks the price at which the seller says he sells 250 grams for ₹50. The Indian tourist then turns to his wallet to produce something ₹100 Indian banknote.
The salesman takes a moment to look at the note, then says, “It won’t be accepted here.” An Indian tourist insisted that it was worth three times the Pakistani rupee, saying: “That’s equal to ₹300 as per PKR, much higher than the amount demanded.”
The tourist searches through his wallet full of Indian notes and finally gives out the required amount in PKR. When the seller asked about the customer’s native country, the tourist said, “I am from India.” The seller looked shocked when he heard this and again asked in disbelief, “India se…. sach bol rahe hain?…Yelo phir chodo …Mehman ho aap.”
However, the tourist thanked the vendor and said “I have money, please keep it” as the vendor walked forward with his cart. This touching video shared on Instagram three days ago has amassed over 43.5 million views and several comments.
