NEW DELHI: Indian pacer Harshit Rana, who has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup with a knee injury, shared a positive update on Monday. Rana took to social media and posted a photo of himself after the surgery.“Surgery done right, now focused on recovery and getting back to what I love,” Rana wrote.

After Rana’s unavailability, Mohammed Siraj was named as his replacement in the team.Rana picked up the injury during a warm-up match earlier this week, with captain Suryakumar Yadav admitting at the time that the pacemaker “doesn’t look good”. The right-arm fast bowler managed just one run in the warm-up against South Africa, conceding 16 runs, before limping off the field with a knee problem.“Siraj, who has played 45 Tests, 50 ODIs and 16 T20Is, has been named as a replacement after Rana ruled out a right knee injury sustained during a warm-up match against South Africa on February 4,” the ICC said late on Friday.
