
Three individuals, including a woman, were found dead inside a vacated car on Outer Delhi’s Peeragarhi flyover this Sunday, according to police.
Authorities said a call was made to Police Dispatch (PCR) regarding a vehicle parked on the overpass. Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers found three lifeless bodies inside the car. Subsequently, crime investigators were called to the scene and law enforcement officers secured the area.
DCP Outer District Sachin Sharma said, “We got a call that some people might have died in a car here. When we arrived, we found a total of three people dead. They have been identified. They are two men and one woman. Nothing suspicious has been found so far.”
Police said the victims included two men and one woman. No obvious physical trauma was found on the bodies and all personal belongings remained intact.
While initial estimates suggest that the incident may be a suicide, a detailed investigation is underway to determine the exact factors that led to the deaths.
Woman found dead in house in Delhi
A 24-year-old woman was found dead at her residence in Delhi’s New Usmanpur area on Saturday morning.
Police said they suspect it was a suicide.
The incident was reported in the wee hours of Saturday, prompting a police team to rush to the spot in Gautam Vihar, where she was found lying in her room.
“The woman was taken to Jag Pravesh Chandra (JPC) Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead,” said a senior police officer.
A forensics team was called in to gather evidence and determine the cause of death. No suicide note has been found so far, he added.
The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem.
The police have initiated proceedings under relevant sections of the Act at the New Usmanpur police station. As part of the investigation, the statements of family members and neighbors are being recorded, the police officer said.
Businessman found dead in stone crusher factory in Sonbhadra UP
An elderly businessman was found dead on Sunday while sleeping in a stone crusher factory in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district.
Police received information around 4.30 am that Vishnu Hari Upadhyay (76) was found dead at the Giridhar Cement Limited crusher in Baghmanwa village of Obra police station area, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Verma said on Sunday.
Upadhyay lived in the power plant premises and sustained a deep head injury which was likely to be the cause of death, the SP said.
He added that the camera equipment at the site was found damaged, while a computer printer, monitor and cash were missing, indicating a possible robbery angle.
