Students from MLR Institute of Technology have achieved international recognition by successfully pitching their startup Junicorn at a prestigious global startup event held in Dubai.
The student team, comprising CSE III students Shivansh Prasher and Dasa Sreeshanth, presented their startup ‘Sahara’, an AI-powered virtual pet for emotional support. Sahara uses an interactive virtual pet that provides emotional support, reduces stress and promotes mental well-being through empathetic AI interactions.
The team’s performance led to several promising results, including strategic collaboration opportunities and the prestigious position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The management of MLR Institute of Technology extended full support to the students and enabled them to participate in the international event held in Dubai, said MLA and founder Marri Raja Shekar Reddy.
