Four people have been arrested and 51 digital devices seized by police in Ernakulam district as part of Operation P-Hunt, an anti-child pornography drive.
The arrests were made in cases registered at Maradu, Palarivattom and Thrikkakara police stations within Kochi city and Kuzhuppilly station in Ernakulam rural limits.
While raids were conducted at 36 locations in the city, rural police intervened at 46 locations. The aim of the nationwide action is to track down persons who watch, download, store or share child pornography on electronic media.
