A video posted on Donald Trump’s social network showing former Democratic President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as monkeys was deleted on Friday after outrage that the US president’s post used racist images historically used to dehumanize people of African descent.
According to Reuters, a White House official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “A White House staffer created the post by mistake,” adding: “It has been taken down.”
