Tribal Welfare Minister Gummadi Sandhya Rani and District Collector N. Prabhakar Reddy on Thursday said Mahaloddha Falls, located in Makkuva mandal of Parvatipuram-Manyam district, has the potential to attract thousands of tourists from various states including Andhra Pradesh and Odisha as it is one of the best waterfalls in the country.
The minister along with the district collector visited the waterfalls after the new road was laid at the site.
Since the waterfall is in a hilly tribal area without proper road connectivity, the tourist did not have access to the place earlier.
Talking to the media, Ms. Sandhya Rani said that the government is focusing on promoting tourism in the tribal areas to ensure livelihood for the tribal people.
