The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) management has made elaborate arrangements for the annual Brahmotsavam to be held from February 8 to 16 at the Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram.
TTD Joint Managing Director V. Veerabrahmam, who reviewed the arrangements at the temple on Wednesday, instructed officials to carry out extensive publicity through campaign vehicles in nearby villages to encourage local participation.
He also pointed out the need to spread the word widely on TTD’s promotional arms like Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) and social media platforms about the unique features of the temple and the magnificence of its ‘Vahana Sevas’ (color processions).
While stressing the need to make arrangements on the lines of Tirumala Srivari Brahmotsavams, he directed the engineering wing to erect electric lighting all over Tirupati and on the road leading to Srinivasa Mangapuram.

Meanwhile, a ‘Sobha Yatra’ will take place on February 12 where ‘Lakshmi Haram’ adorned with the Tirumala deity will be brought down from the hills and marched through the roads of Tirupati to the temple, for the auspicious ‘Garuda Seva’.
