Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh on Tuesday (February 3, 2026) announced that a special action plan for the development of the Telugu film industry in Andhra Pradesh will be launched from April.
After congratulating the winners of the Andhra Pradesh Short Film Festival – 2026, the minister congratulated the young directors, technicians and actors for producing short films with strong social awareness.
He said discussions were held with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan regarding the conduct of Nandi Awards and Nandi Theater Festival and an announcement would be made soon.
