All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) General Secretary Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri died on Tuesday after prolonged illness. Senior party leader Quadri has been associated with AIMIM for several decades. He was a close aide of late Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, father of AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi.
He was elected from the Charminar Assembly constituency in 2004 and retained the seat for three consecutive terms. In 2018, he was moved to contest from Jakutpura constituency.
