A second-year intermediate student reportedly died under mysterious circumstances at a business college on the outskirts of Vijayawada.
College staff said a student, M. Pavan Kumar (17), allegedly ended his life in his hostel room on Saturday night. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Meanwhile, Pavan’s parents claimed that their son was beaten up in a clash between several students that took place in the hostel a few days ago and expressed doubt over his death. The Penamaluru police in Krishna district have registered a case and started investigation.
