US President Donald Trump lashed out at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (local time), a night when major winners, including first-time Latin winner Bad Bunny, spoke out against an immigration crackdown by ICE.
“The Grammys are the WORST, practically unwatchable! CBS is lucky they no longer have this garbage on their airwaves,” Trump said in a lengthy post on his Truth Social platform.
The US president has accused host Trevor Noah of being “almost as bad as” comedian and Trump critic Jimmy Kimmel, addressing Noah’s comments about his association with disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“Noah WRONGLY said about me that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island or anywhere near it, and until today’s false and defamatory statement, I have never been accused of being there, even by the Fake News Media,” Trump wrote.
He also threatened to sue Noah, calling the comedian and late-night talk show host a “loser.”
“Noah, total loser, you better get your facts straight and do it fast. Looks like I’m sending my lawyers to sue this poor, poor, untalented, junkie MC and I’m suing him for a lot of $,” a clearly upset Trump wrote.
“Get ready Noah, I’m going to have fun with you! President DJT,” was the foreboding conclusion of the American president.
