A high-level delegation from the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) led by its Managing Director Shivangi Swarnkar conducted an extensive study tour of Telangana’s leading industrial and IT hubs on Friday.
The objective of the visit was to understand the best practices adopted by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) that have made the state a global investment destination. The delegation visited prominent locations including HITEC City, Mindspace, Genome Valley and Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMC) at Raviryala and Maheshwaram (E-City), TGIIC said.
After the field visits, the delegation met TGIIC VC and MD K. Shashanka and Heads of Departments at TGIIC HQ. During the interaction, Mr. Shashanka briefed Rajasthan officials on Telangana Rising: Vision 2047. He highlighted how the state is transitioning to a $3 trillion economy and focused on ensuring balanced regional development. He attributed the state’s industrial success to the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and that of Minister for Industries and IT D. Sridhar Babu.
Ms. Swarnkar expressed her appreciation for the streamlined processes that TGIIC has in place in land management and infrastructure maintenance. Telangana’s IT and Life Sciences ecosystems serve as a benchmark for other states in the country, she said.
