Rap icon Nicki Minaj, the self-proclaimed “number one fan” of US President Donald Trump, visited the White House on Wednesday and accidentally showed him off.
She visited the White House for the launch of “Trump Accounts”, a government-backed investment account for children in the United States.
Minaj, who said the “hate” directed at the US president made her more supportive, shared the stage with Trump.
Dressed in a furry white coat, the rapper embraced Trump and took the stage.

‘Number one fan’
“I will say that I’m probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change,” said Nicki Minaj, who wore a furry white cape as she hugged Trump and took the stage.
“And the hate or what people say doesn’t affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more.”
She also said she won’t let opponents of the billionaire president “go through his bullying and smear campaigns. That’s not going to work.”
The Trinidadian star, 43, said: “He has a lot of strength behind him and God is protecting him. Amen.”
Trump, who had previously joked that he would grow his fingernails to imitate the rapper, then held her hand as another speaker took the stage.

Nicki Minaj impersonates Trump
Nicki Minaj shook hands and hugged people in the room while meeting with auto workers at the White House and was totally in the zone as the US President stood in the background.
Donald Trump joked: “They forgot I’m here now”.
The self-proclaimed ‘Queen of Rap’ is known for her shape-shifting music and fashion styles – but she’s also radically changed her politics in recent years.
Previously a critic of Trump’s tough immigration policies, Minaj has shifted to praising his leadership in recent years.
In November, she made a surprise appearance at the United Nations to call for an end to faith-based persecution in Nigeria, a claim by the Trump administration that the government there denies.

What are “trump accounts” for children?
The White House is establishing these investment accounts for newborns over the next three years from the government’s initial seed money. Trump and his GOP are trying to address voters’ concerns about affordability ahead of the November election.
The U.S. Treasury says it will put $1,000 into investment accounts for all babies born between 2025 and 2028, with an estimated 25 million families eligible.
The government will invest the money in low-cost index funds that grow tax-deferred. Income tax is payable upon withdrawal.
The accounts officially went online on July 4 this year, and Finance Minister Scott Bessent said more than 500,000 families have already signed up.
