Police are conducting searches at a phenyl factory in Mysuru

On January 28, the city police conducted a search at the Hebbal phenyl manufacturing plant in the police station limits.

City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar dismissed speculations in this regard and clarified that no contraband was found on the premises. “None of the material or raw material seized was drug-related,” she said.

“It is a phenyl factory and material related to detergents like caustic soda and salt has been seized,” a police official said.
