India will be without the services of Ishan Kishan in the Vizag T20I as the hosts opted not to exercise the option on Shreyas Iyer for the match on Wednesday, January 28. Kishan was in great form during the series, scoring 112 runs with a strike rate of 224 in three matches.
Kishan scored a match-winning 76 in the Raipur T20I before striking again in the Guwahati match to ensure India sealed the series. The Jharkhand batsman will miss Wednesday’s match due to a slight twitch he picked up in the match in Guwahati. India opted to go with an extra bowler for the match with Arshdeep Singh coming into the contest.
